Day-by-Day Itinerary
6:30 AM: Pick-up from Kisumu City. 8:15 AM: Arrive at KWS Office (Check-in). Take an exciting 30-minute boat ride to Ndere Island. Explore the island on a guided excursion (1 - 1.5 hours). Return boat ride to Bao Beach. 12:00 PM: Depart for Kisumu City. (Optional stop at Kit-Mikayi Rock Formation for an additional fee of KES 250 per person). Attractions: Wildlife: Spot hippos, impalas, Nile crocodiles, and more. Birdwatching: Over 100 species, including African Fish Eagles and Grey-headed Kingfishers. Scenic Views: Marvel at Homa Hills, Mageta Island, and even Kampala in the distance.
